Voice- & vocal demos

Nowadays, voice actors and vocalists often have some type of gear available. Footlight Saga records/edits demos for artists who do not have a home-studio and/or who lack an acoustically treated space. The workspace in Amersfoort (NL) may be small, but with a professional microphone, audio interface and 1,2m x 1,2m booth, one cannot go wrong.

Industry standards may differ from place to place. That is why the packages have optional expansions which can be selected based on your needs and budget.

The process

The most important step is choosing content to work from, like scraps from literature or lyrics. Any chosen content should be recognized as fair use or come from the public domain. If you rather not search, then Footlight Saga has original content available. Applying this acapella is free of charge, but recording backing tracks (guitar/keyboard) or using pre-produced tracks from Footlight Saga is prone to the relevant expansion supplement.

And then… recording!

Once editing is finished, the demo(s) will be made available as WAV or MP3 file(s), depending on your request.
