Musician demos

Footlight Saga records/edits demos for musicians without a home-studio and/or who lack an acoustically treated space. The workspace in Amersfoort (NL) may be small, but with a professional condenser microphone, audio interface and 1,2m x 1,2m booth, one cannot go wrong.

Instruments and (bass)guitar amps that fit inside the booth can be recorded in that controlled space. Instruments that do not fit, such as the double bass, are welcome to record outside the booth. However, recordings will be prone to the acoustics of the room and any background noise coming from outside.

Demo of one chosen instrument

60 sec. standard length

EUR 65,-

Up to 60 extra sec.: EUR 30,-

Up to 120 extra sec.: EUR 45,-

Mix with rythm track: EUR 55,-

The process

First, you will need to choose a melody to cover. Multiple musical pieces are allowed, as long as you select a bit that fits within the length of your chosen package. If you are working with content from other authors, please make sure that it is recognized as fair use or comes from the public domain.

If you need to practice, please make sure to do so before the session. Of course, re-takes are possible within the reserved time of your session, which is 30 minutes.

Once editing is finished, the demo(s) will be made available as WAV or MP3 file(s), depending on your request.
