Whether you are an actor, musician or other type of artist, the showreel service has your showcase covered! This type of reel is meant to pitch yourself audiovisually. If you do not have pre-recorded material of yourself in action, you can select the PRODUCTION package for a recording session at the home-studio of Footlight Saga. Or go nuts with a combination of pre-recordings and new footage by choosing HYBRID.

Industry standards may differ from place to place. That is why the packages have optional expansions which can be selected based on your needs and budget.

The process

Depending on your chosen package, you will provide Footlight Saga with footage from finished work and/or prepare material for recording. In the former case, you should make a pre-selection of the content as you know the content best while allowing you some direction over the reel. Please, make sure you own the rights of the media in question or have written permission to make use of it. If you want to record scenes or music, the content should be considered fair use. The same applies to (casting) photos if you want a title card.

If a recording session is included in your package, we will work like being on a set: there is time for direction and polishing the performance within the available time. Actors may bring a scene partner for off-camera interaction.

Once editing is finished, the showreel will be made available as a MOV or MP4 file, depending on your request.
