Pregnancy photos
The beginning of life is in fact the beginning of a story. Footlight Saga does acknowledge this and provides pregnancy photography as an artistic service to private individuals; apart from regular storytelling productions, but with the same expertise!
Some people want to capture their pregnancy in a single shot, taken with a fine eye. Others prefer to look back on this beautiful period of their life through many images. In order to ensure quality without discriminating against different budgets, three packages are available for booking. Manual photo editing for the given rates is made possible through the design of these packages.

Naturally, these types of photos are taken for their emotional value and may be shared freely with the world. However, commercializing them goes against the idea behind the service. An example of this: making the photos available for third parties against a redemption payment or commission. If you are a commercial client who is working with a pregnant model, please inquire for a custom arrangement and license.

The process
Timing your appointment 30-35 weeks into the pregnancy is considered to capture you and your belly best! Please, keep this in mind during the early stages of your pregnancy. It would also be advised to discuss the feel of your photos in advance. Location matters a lot! A studio shoot makes for a controlled space and polished look, while a natural environment puts the model into the beauty of our planet. If a location outside of Amersfoort is requested, a supplement to the fees above may apply.
On the day of the appointment, we will have a chat in person before getting started. We should get to know each other and, if you are not in front of a camera often, this can help to lift the suspense a bit.
If you have chosen TRIPTYCH or TREASURE, you may pose with up to two outfits. Footlight Saga does not provide any outfits; this would otherwise affect the rates, whereas the model can control expenses by composing an outfit themself.
Following the photo shoot, we will make a selection (at the home studio, this can be done in person). After editing, the photos are standardly delivered as JPG/JPEG which are best for online sharing. Do you need the files for printing? Please include this in your inquiry (no additional fee).
